Lauren is an editorial leader, content strategist and team manager with experience working across multimedia platforms. She’s currently managing editor, editorial content at Amazon Books, following her role as senior content manager at Amazon Music. Lauren previously worked as director – editor in chief, lead content strategist at Merck and entertainment editorial director at HuffPost. Lauren was also a contributing host at Verizon’s Yahoo! Build Series, interviewing music artists, actors and other celebrity talent. Prior to HuffPost, she spent five years at CBSNews.com, serving as entertainment managing editor. While covering music and entertainment news for United Stations Media Networks, Lauren interviewed hundreds of celebrities and developed and voiced her own nationally-syndicated entertainment audio reports. Lauren was also an on-air radio personality on Long Island’s WBAB-FM. Lauren has appeared as a pop culture expert on various news outlets and shows, including CNN, PBS, MTV, “Inside Edition,” “Entertainment Tonight,” CBS and others. Lauren is also a part-time faculty member at The New School, teaching courses in the Media Management graduate program.
