Adam Santiago

Legal Council at Condé Nast

MS in Media Management(2019)

Adam Santiago is a native New Yorker, film and music snob, Seinfeld aficionado, and a yogi runner.  He’s also cultivated seven years of invaluable dealmaking experience as an entertainment and IP attorney.

Adam is currently In-House Legal Counsel at Condé Nast, a global media company with over one billion consumers of its renowned 30+ brand portfolio (e.g., The New Yorker, Pitchfork, GQ, Vogue, Vanity Fair).  Adam leads all production, distribution, and talent legal matters for Condé’s digital video, audio/podcast, music, film, television, and social media content.

Adam also leads Condé’s NYC Pro Bono Committee chapter, where he spearheads clinical work for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA), an awesome legal aid and education organization for low-income NYC artists of all disciplines.

Prior to Condé, Adam was an Associate at The Firm®, a boutique entertainment and IP NYC law firm. Under his mentor, Bruce Colfin, Adam negotiated, drafted, and advised on IP licensing and industry deals for indie and established musicians, filmmakers, producers, influencers, writers, fashion entrepreneurs, and multi-media content creators.

Adam holds an MS in Media Management (The New School), a JD (Western Michigan University Cooley Law School), and a BA (CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice).
