Sam Pollard, the School of Media Studies’ 2021 Spring Hirshon Artist-in-Residence, hosted a public event featuring his work and engaged in a discussion with Michelle Materre, Director of the Media Management Program & Associate Professor of Media Studies and Film. He also held a master class for Media Studies Students.

Sam Pollard is an accomplished feature film and television video editor, and documentary producer/director whose work spans almost thirty years. His most recent documentary, MLK/FBI was released this January to universal critical acclaim.

The Media Management MS offers the practical experience you need to succeed in today's media industries. The Documentary Studies Certificate program provides an opportunity to study documentary filmmaking in a small, tightly focused program. The Media Management Certificate Program provides a strong foundation of management principles and leadership skills to find work in the ever-changing global media landscape.
